Ali Picton

Ali Picton is Mayoral Director for Operations. Ali has previously worked for Sadiq Khan in senior roles since 2012 - in his capacity as Mayor, candidate for Mayor, Shadow Secretary of State for Justice and MP for Tooting.

Ali has a background in legal aid and advocacy. She has worked in Government, and for public sector and non-governmental organizations both in London and internationally on issues relating to human rights, social welfare and access to justice. She has an LLB in Laws from the London School of Economics, and Postgraduate Certificate in Global Development Management. Passionate about social mobility, and equality of opportunity – she continues to volunteer for a number of charitable organizations.
