Simon Powell

Simon Powell is an experienced professional in land and development, currently serving as Assistant Director for both Land and Development and Strategic Projects & Property at the Greater London Authority since April 2012. Additionally, Simon holds the position of Director at GLA Land and Property Ltd since August 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Area and Area Manager with the Homes & Communities Agency from December 2008 to April 2012, and Senior Regeneration Manager at English Partnerships between June 2004 and November 2008. Simon began a career in project management as Principal Project Manager at Capita Symonds from January 2001 to May 2004. Simon holds a BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying from the University of Greenwich, obtained between 1991 and 1995.
