Tim Walder

Tim Walder serves as the Principal Conservation Officer at the Greater London Authority since September 2022. Prior to this role, Tim held the position of Principal Conservation and Design Officer at the London Borough of Hackney from June 2015 to September 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing listed buildings, providing technical advice, and presenting at Planning Committee. Earlier experience includes serving as a Conservation Officer at the London Borough of Lewisham from September 2013 to May 2015, engaging in conservation planning and formal assessments. Tim holds a Master of Science in Conservation of Buildings from Anglia Ruskin University, a Master of Arts in History of Education, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the Institute of Education, University of London, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford.
