Ben Lancaster is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in infrastructure, networking, and voice communications. Currently serving as Delivery Manager (Technology) at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since May 2017, Ben previously held key leadership roles in technology at Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service and Amey. With a foundational background in computer science from The University of Bolton and a BTEC National Diploma in Computing, Ben has led critical projects such as the Windows XP to Windows 7 migration and has managed various IT systems and infrastructures, showcasing strong technical and leadership capabilities throughout a career spanning over a decade.
