Bethany Allsop

Bethany Allsop is a Strategic Programme Manager at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since February 2024, following a role as Change Manager at Bolton Council from April 2023 to February 2024. Previously, Bethany was a National Management Trainee in the NGDP at Sheffield City Council, where participation in a fast-track graduate scheme included three placements and completion of an ILM Level 7 qualification in Leadership and Management. Prior experience includes positions as a Business Support Officer at Stockport Council and Family Support Officer at the Young People’s Empowerment Project, where responsibilities involved supporting families and managing social media campaigns. Early career roles include a casework internship with Yvette Cooper MP and General Secretary at Immigration Education Nottingham, focused on delivering anti-racism workshops. Bethany’s educational background includes a degree in Sociology from the University of Nottingham (2017-2020).
