Jane Healey Brown is an accomplished leader in urban planning and policy with over two decades of experience at Arup, currently serving as the Arup Manchester Officer Leader and Global Town Planning and Policy Skills Leader. In this role, Jane manages a team of 500 staff in Manchester, focusing on sustainable development and social equity within the built environment. As a Director at Arup, Jane leads the Planning, Policy and Economics team for the North West and Yorkshire regions. Additionally, Jane contributes to various organizations, including the Northern Powerhouse Partnership as a Board Member, Irwell Valley Homes as a Non-Executive Director, and the University of Liverpool as a Visiting Professor. Jane has been recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Town Planning Institute and has also served as a Planning and Housing Commissioner for the Greater Manchester Combined Authority since 2008.
