Ravi Badat

Ravi Badat is an experienced professional with a strong background in economic policy and strategy. Currently serving as Devolution Strategy Principal and Economic Strategy Programme Lead at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since November 2020, Ravi has also held roles as Economic Policy Adviser. Prior experience includes a Policy Advisor position at HM Treasury from August 2017 to November 2020, along with mentorship at National Citizen Service and recruitment consultancy at Jambo Ltd. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCL, where Ravi was actively involved in the UCL History Society as Event Coordinator, and a strong academic foundation with A Levels and GCSEs from Bolton School.
