Sarah Keaveny

Sarah Keaveny has extensive work experience in communications and media. Sarah started their career as a Senior Reporter at The Bolton News in 2008. In 2011, they joined the Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service as a Senior Communications Officer before being promoted to Communications Manager in 2016. Sarah then moved to the Greater Manchester Combined Authority in 2017, where they held the role of Communications Manager before being promoted to Head Of Communications in December 2018.

Sarah Keaveny attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a First Class degree in English Language and Literature. Following their time at the university, Sarah pursued further education at the City of Liverpool College from 2007 to 2008, where they completed a Fast-track NCTJ Journalism program.
