Jonny Ward

Jonny Ward, known as The Anxious Firefighter, serves as Station Manager at Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service since October 2007 and has held various roles in psychotherapy and counseling since April 2020, including a private practice and positions with organizations such as ANXIETY UK and Frontline19 ® CIC. Jonny's expertise extends to corporate well-being through The Anxious Firefighter initiative and leadership experience as a workplace division executive for the BACP. Additionally, Jonny has contributed to first aid training at Aid Training & Operations Ltd and served as an overseas aid worker with Operation Florian. Academic credentials include a BA (Hons) in Psychology from Sheffield Hallam University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from The University of Salford.
