Wendy Richings

Wendy Richings has extensive experience in volunteer management and project support within emergency service organizations. Since August 2011, Wendy has served as Volunteer Manager at Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service, focusing on developing sustainable volunteer programs and community engagement. Previously, Wendy held roles including Project Support Officer for a £15 million training and safety center, and managed significant initiatives for the Chief Fire Officers Association. Wendy also has a background in events management and marketing, having successfully coordinated corporate events for GMFRS and supported the Business Development Manager at Alpha Hospital. Prior experience includes serving as External Relations Manager at Royal Mail Group, where Wendy managed communications and reputational risks for the organization's multiple businesses.
