Steve Acord

Steve Acord has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Steve currently holds the position of Vice President Information Technology at Greater Omaha Packing Co., Inc. since April 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of IT at the same company from May 2019 to April 2020. From December 2017 to May 2019, they served as the Infrastructure and Client Computing Manager. Before joining Greater Omaha Packing Co., Inc., Steve worked at Gordmans as the Manager of Infrastructure and Client Computing from July 2012 to December 2017. Steve also had previous experience at Pamida, Nebraska Book Company, and Client Resources, Inc. in various roles related to systems administration and consulting.

Steve Acord earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Communications Technology from the USAF between 1982 and 1989. Steve also holds multiple certifications, including MS: Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center from Microsoft in 2016, MCSA 2008 from Microsoft in 2013, ITIL® 2011 Foundations from APMG-International in 2013, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in 2012, Certified Virtualization Expert 5 from CVE in 2011, CompTia: A+ from Comptia in 2011, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator from Microsoft in 2010, MCITP: Enterprise Support Technician from Microsoft in 2010, and MCITP: Server Administrator from Microsoft in 2010.
