Anthony Davit has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Anthony currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, overseeing Orlando International and Executive Airports. Prior to this, they were a member of the Town Council for the Town of Windermere. Anthony also worked as the Vice President of Attraction Development at Universal Creative and held the position of Southern Region Director for Corporate Real Estate Planning and Development at United Airlines.
Before transitioning to the private sector, Davit had a distinguished military career in the United States Air Force. Anthony held several leadership positions, including Director of Readiness and Deputy Joint Base Commander. Anthony also served as the Commander for various squadrons and units, earning accolades such as the Curtin Award and being named the 'Best in Command'. Their roles within the Air Force involved executive management, directing major construction projects, and planning/consulting for engineering requirements.
Anthony Davit has an educational background in Civil Engineering. Anthony obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in the years 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1998 to 2000. In 2011 and 2012, they attended the USAF Air War College, earning a Master's degree in Military Strategic Studies, General. Additionally, Anthony Davit has obtained various certifications, including a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in March 2023 and the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in 2017. Anthony also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2017.
