Kathryn Sorensen is an accomplished professional in water policy and management, currently serving as the Director of Research at the Kyl Center for Water Policy at Morrison Institute since December 2020 and as a Senior Global Futures Scientist at the ASU Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory since March 2022. With extensive experience, Kathryn has been a Board Member of the Water & Health Advisory Council since 2019 and previously held the position of Director of Phoenix Water Services at the City of Phoenix from August 2013 to October 2020, as well as Director of the Water Resources Department at the City of Mesa from August 2008 to August 2013. Kathryn earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.
