Joshua Brister

Joshua Brister currently serves as the Interim President of the Maine Black Chamber of Commerce and operates as an Independent Consultant for the Greater Portland Council of Governments. As the Principal Owner of Lewiston Auburn Maples since July 2021, Joshua has demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership. Prior experience includes roles as Creative Director & Host at Black Bare Sports, and consulting at Black Owned Maine, where strategic initiatives led to the formation of a Board of Directors and the successful fundraising of $150K. Previous management roles encompassed Location Manager at Crown Uniform & Linen Service, General Manager at Flight Services & Systems, and Avionics Technician with the United States Department of Defense, following service as an Aviation Specialist in the US Navy.
