Kristen Otto

Kristen Otto has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kristen is currently serving as the Director of Digital Communications at Greater St. Louis, Inc. since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Washington University in St. Louis, where they held two positions. From May 2018 to September 2022, they were the Marketing & Outreach Manager at the Office of Technology Management/Tech Transfer. Before that, they served as the Digital Communications Manager at the McKelvey School of Engineering from May 2015 to May 2018.

Kristen's earlier work experience includes a role as the Development Communications Coordinator at City Academy from June 2014 to May 2015. Kristen also worked at Washington University in St. Louis, where they served as the Marketing & Communications Manager at the McKelvey School of Engineering from November 2010 to March 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Communications Specialist from April 2007 to November 2010.

Their earlier experiences include being the Managing Editor at Louie Magazine from July 2005 to July 2006, and a Chapter Development Consultant (now Leadership Development Consultant) at Kappa Delta Sorority from May 2004 to July 2005. Additionally, they worked as a Senate Intern at the State of Missouri from January 2004 to June 2004, and as a News Intern at KTVI FOX 2 from January 2003 to June 2003.

Kristen Otto completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Kristen attended the university from 2000 to 2004.
