Kayvee Kondapalli

Kayvee Kondapalli has extensive experience in the banking industry, particularly in IT and technology management. From 2020 to the present, Kayvee has served as the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Greater Texas Credit Union. In this role, Kayvee is responsible for transforming various functions, including IT, Core Banking, Software Development, Data, Project & Process Management, and Digital Experience, to enhance the banking experience. Kayvee also chairs the IT Steering Committee and co-chairs the Change Management Committee at the company.

Prior to joining Greater Texas Credit Union, Kayvee held a similar position at Firstmark Credit Union from 2017 to 2019. In this role, Kayvee led and directed multiple functions, including IT, Digital Services, Core Banking, Software Development, Cyber Security, Payment Systems, Analytics, Project Management, and Call Center. Kayvee was actively involved in strategic community partnerships and participated in strategic planning and board meetings.

Before joining Firstmark Credit Union, Kayvee served as the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Scott Credit Union from 2014 to 2016. Kayvee led and directed various functions, including IT, Digital Services, Core Banking, Software Development, Analytics, and Cyber Security. Kayvee was an active member of the senior officer team, chaired the technology committee, and participated in strategic planning and board meetings.

In earlier roles, Kayvee held several positions at Campus Federal Credit Union. From 2010 to 2013, Kayvee served as the CTO and VP of IT. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2010, Kayvee held the position of AVP, Information Systems. Kayvee started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Campus Federal Credit Union in 2002.

Kayvee Kondapalli has a well-rounded education history, with degrees in both the technical and business fields. Kayvee obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Louisiana State University, graduating in 2002. Kayvee also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kakatiya University, which they completed from 1995 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Kayvee has also obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. Kayvee completed the "Transitioning from Manager to Leader" certification from LinkedIn in March 2020.
