Amanda Cox

Amanda Cox is an accomplished program director currently serving at Greater Wellington since September 2020, leading the Local Water Done Well initiative and acting as Principal Advisor to the Chair. With a substantial tenure at Greater Wellington Regional Council from 2002 to September 2020, Amanda managed the Parks division, overseeing six parks and two forests, and was responsible for operational planning and visitor services. Additionally, Amanda held the position of Manager - Marketing & Design, leading a team to develop marketing strategies for regional parks and bulk water supply. Prior experience includes working as Brand Manager for Lotto at Lotto New Zealand from 1995 to 2000. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Marketing from Massey University and received early education at St Matthews Collegiate School.
