Scott Walker

Scott Walker is a seasoned policy advisor with extensive experience in various government organizations in New Zealand. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at Greater Wellington Regional Council since July 2023, Scott has previously held roles including Senior Advisor at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand, where support was provided to the COVID-19 Care in the Community team, and Senior Analyst at Fisheries New Zealand, focusing on operational policy advice for the Digital Monitoring programme. Scott's career includes significant positions at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, and the Ministry of Transport, with a strong emphasis on economic forecasting, cost/benefit analysis, and policy development for various sectors.
