Allen Hamilton

Allen Hamilton has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Allen is currently working at London Life/Great-West Lifeco Inc as the Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they were the Manager of Cyber Threat Intelligence at the same company from August 2018 to July 2023.

Before joining London Life/Great-West Lifeco Inc, Allen worked at Manitoba eHealth - Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Allen held various roles including Information Security Officer from September 2015 to August 2018, Security Architect in March 2015, Senior Security Analyst from November 2013 to March 2015, and Infrastructure Operations Security Lead from July 2012 to October 2013.

Allen also gained experience working at the Public Health Agency of Canada as an IT Security Analyst from April 2011 to July 2012.

Their earliest work experience can be traced back to the Department of National Defence, where they served as a Senior IM/IT Security Manager from April 2006 to April 2011. Prior to this, they held roles as an Aerospace Telecommunication Information System Technician from January 1999 to April 2006, and as a Military Police officer from April 1986 to January 1999.

Allen Hamilton attended the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics in 1999-2000, studying Electronics. Allen also attended the Canadian Forces Military Police Academy (formerly the Canadian Forces School of Intelligence and Security) in 1986-1987, studying Criminology and Policing. In addition, they obtained several certifications in the field of IT security, such as ITIL Foundation, CWSE, CISA, GSNA, CISSP, and GSEC.
