Mr. Ryan, Corporate Director, served as Vice-Chairman of Regulatory Affairs at JPMorgan Chase & Co. (“JPMorgan”), a global financial services firm, from 2013 to 2014. Prior to joining JPMorgan, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association from 2008 to 2013. He is a director of Canada Life, Empower Retirement, Putnam, Power Corporation and Power Financial. Mr. Ryan is also non-executive Chairman of the board of Santander Holdings USA, Inc., Santander Bank, N.A. and Banco Santander International. He previously served as a director of Markit Ltd. and Lloyds Banking Group plc. He was a private sector member of the Global Markets Advisory Committee for the National Intelligence Council from 2007 to 2011. Mr. Ryan is a graduate of Villanova University and the American University Law School.
