André Borschberg

André Borschberg is a seasoned entrepreneur and pilot, currently serving as Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of H55 since 2017, where André utilizes extensive experience gained over 30 years in the aerospace industry and within the Solar Impulse project. As a key leader of the Solar Impulse initiative alongside Bertrand Piccard, Borschberg successfully transformed the vision of a solar-powered airplane into reality, achieving historic milestones including the first round-the-world solar flight in 2016. Additionally, Borschberg is an accomplished professional speaker, sharing insights on innovation and leadership. Their background includes roles as a pilot in the Swiss Air Force, a consultant at McKinsey & Company, and participation in the World Presidents' Organization, along with a strong academic foundation with master's degrees in Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Mechanical Engineering from EPFL.
