Jamil Samara has a strong and diverse work experience. Jamil started their career in 1996 as a Counselor at Antiochian Village. Jamil then worked as a Technical Assistant at Boston College from 1998 to 2000, where they managed facilities and assisted faculty and students with multimedia technologies. In 2000, they joined Sun Microsystems as a Web Technologist, where they developed HTML content, provided QA testing, and participated in cross-functional Java projects.

In 2002, Jamil joined Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America as a Senior Full Stack Web Developer and Assistant Director of Web Development. During this time, they increased the team's capacity to serve users and companies with advisory services, mentored interns, and implemented emerging technologies. Later, they became the Director of Web Development, Department of Internet Ministries, where they led and managed a 16-person development, design, and support team. Jamil utilized goal-setting and Agile methodologies and prioritized market trends and best practices.

Since 2006, Jamil has also worked as an Independent Consultant, helping small companies transform their businesses through website development, digital marketing strategy, and other services. Jamil provided problem-solving and analysis to promote growth, efficiency, and effective communications.

Throughout their career, Jamil has demonstrated their expertise in web development, digital marketing, and team management.

Jamil Samara completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Boston College from 1996 to 2000. Later, from 2007 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree at Hellenic College Holy Cross. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained various certifications in programming and IT security from LinkedIn, such as "Cutting-Edge CSS," "IT Security Foundations: Core Concepts," and "Become a Software Developer," among others.
