Matthew Checksfield has extensive work experience in the field of IT and software engineering. Matthew is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Greek Peak Mountain Resort & Meier Industries. Prior to this, they held various roles at Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses, including Vice President of IT, Director of Application Development & Web Technology, Director of Application Development, and Software Development Manager. Before joining Raymour & Flanigan, Matthew worked at Smartech Systems Inc. as a Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer, managing software engineering teams and delivering quality systems integration solutions. Matthew also worked as a Systems Engineer at Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc.
Matthew Checksfield attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.

Welcome to four seasons of family fun, relaxation, exploration, and rejuvenation at Greek Peak Mountain Resort and Hope Lake Lodge, where a mountain of memories awaits. Greek Peak Mountain Resort, central New York’s largest ski resort, was founded in 1958 and has remained at the leading edge of the ski industry with fifty-five trails, six chair lifts, two surface lifts, a conveyor lift for tubing, a beginners’ slope, and terrain parks. The four-season family resort is located in New York’s scenic Finger Lakes region, conveniently just minutes from Interstate I-81. Under new ownership, the mountain has many new amenities and recent investments including The Lookout at Hope Lake, a stand-alone indoor/outdoor event space overlooking a beautiful lake and mountains, Carvers Steakhouse in Hope Lake Lodge, Trax Pub and Grill restaurant with an expansive 6,000 square foot deck in the main ski lodge, Waterfalls Spa, a quad chairlift, updated ski and board equipment in the rental shop, a state of the art ski and board tuning facility, and new this past summer, Greek Peak's Campground at Hope Lake, featuring 26 RV sites and 15 smaller, Junior RV sites with sewer, water, and electric.
