Tony Schmidt has been working in the tech industry since 2006. Tony started their career as a Web Developer at APAX Software, developing high tech websites as well as connecting businesses through REST APIs and social networks. In 2007, they took on a Web Developer role at the University of Kentucky Student Activities Board, where they completely redesigned the website and converted it to a dynamic web content management system. In 2009, Schmidt founded and became the CEO of GreekTrack. In 2012, they joined Microsoft as a Program Manager II, where they were committed to evolving Dynamics CRM into a system of intelligence. In 2019, they joined Awesome Inc as a Venture Labs: Catalyst. Most recently, in 2021, Schmidt took on the role of Advisor in Residence at Launch Blue.
Tony Schmidt obtained a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Science, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky in 2010. Prior to that, they attended Henry Clay High School from 2002 to 2006. In 2011, they pursued a Master in Engineering Management from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt from the same institution in May 2012.
