Lauren Richardson has over 30 years of professional experience. Lauren began their career in 1989 as a Project Manager at the National Center for Employee Ownership. In 1993, they moved to Web Industries as an Inside Sales Representative and was later promoted to Director of Quality and Training. In 2008, they began working as an Interior Designer at Carol Guest Interiors. In 2012, they became the Owner/Interior Designer of Besosa Designs, LLC. In 2021, they joined Green Badger as a Sustainability Manager and Sustainability Associate. In this role, they are responsible for demonstrating Green Badger's LEED software solution to project teams and providing onboarding, training, and ongoing support to project teams. Lauren is also conducting product and technology research related to sustainability and green building standards.
Lauren Richardson has an education history that spans from 1983 to the present. Lauren obtained a B.A. in Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1987. In 2008 to 2010, they attended Lanier Technical College and obtained an A.A.S. in Interior Design. In 2007 to 2008, they attended the Sheffield School of Design in N.Y. and obtained a Certificate in Interior Design. In 1997, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained a Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2020, they obtained a Certificate in Global Environmental Management from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in Sustainability Studies and a Certificate from Harvard Business School Online in Sustainability Studies. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) as a WELL AP in November 2022, a LEED Green Associate in August 2021, and a Pro Reviewer in March 2021 from Green Building Certification Inc.
