Aaron Lovato

Aaron Lovato currently works as a Telescope Operator II at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, starting in December 2023. Prior to this, Aaron held a position as a Radio Telescope Operation's Specialist at the Green Bank Observatory, starting in July 2020. Aaron graduated from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2020, with a degree in Physics with an astronomy and astrophysics option, as well as a minor in Mathematics. Aaron's main role is to ensure the quality of data obtained by astronomers using the telescope by overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
