Superintendent, Continuous School Improvement at GREEN BAY AREA PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT

David Johns currently serves as the Associate Superintendent of Continuous Improvement for the Green Bay Area Public School District since July 2023. Prior to this role, David Johns spent 18 years at Des Moines Public Schools, where positions included Director of Teaching and Learning, K-12 Network Director, and Middle School Principal/IB Head of School. David Johns has a strong focus on enhancing educational experiences, promoting a culture of coaching, and expanding leadership opportunities within urban settings. Academic achievements include a BA in Political Science and Government from Brown University and a Master of Arts in Education from Drake University, complemented by further education from Viterbo University.
