Jacob Friend currently serves as Vice President of Manufacturing at Green Bay Packaging, overseeing US operations for the Coated Products Division since December 2023. Previously, Jacob held various positions at Avery Dennison from May 2008 to December 2023, culminating in the role of Regional Plant Manager, where responsibility included management of the entire value stream for North American Graphics facilities and ensuring the achievement of SQDC goals. Jacob also held roles such as Plant Manager, Operations Manager, and Senior Technology Manager, demonstrating a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics while driving continuous improvement through LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies. Jacob possesses a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Brigham Young University.
