EVP, Director of Football Operations at Green Bay Packers
Russ joined the Packers organization as vice president of football administration/player finance on Feb. 14, 2008, and was promoted to executive vice president/director of football operations on Jan. 8, 2018. He is entering his 32nd season in the NFL, having previously worked for the New Orleans Saints, Washington Redskins, Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs. Russ is responsible for negotiating player contracts and managing the salary cap, as well as the daily supervision of football-administration departments including equipment, video, logistics and team travel, corporate travel, player engagement, family programs and fields.
He began his NFL career with the Chiefs in 1989 as assistant strength and conditioning coach.
