Mili Majumdar

Mili Majumdar currently serves as Senior Vice President of Research and Innovation at the U.S. Green Building Council and Managing Director at Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), roles held since March 2016. With extensive experience in sustainable habitat initiatives, Mili previously worked as Senior Director at The Energy and Resources Institute, where leadership included managing a team focused on green building policies, energy efficiency, and training stakeholders. Mili also held significant positions at GRIHA Council, where responsibilities encompassed the development and promotion of a green building rating system. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Building Construction Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, a Bachelor of Architecture from Jadavpur University, and various certifications in Sustainable Investing and Design Thinking from Harvard Business School Online. Mili is recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
