Gareth Zahir-Bill

Gareth Zahir-Bill has an extensive work experience in various roles and sectors. Gareth is currently working at the Green Climate Fund as the Deputy Director of the Division of Portfolio Management. Prior to that, they worked at the Shell Foundation as the Chair of the SDG Investment Fund and Director of Operations, where they were responsible for program delivery and budget management. Gareth also served as the Access to Finance Lead & Portfolio Adviser, leading the Foundation's efforts in developing a portfolio of enterprises providing capital and services to the market.

Before joining the Shell Foundation, Gareth worked at Mara Foundation as a mentor and at Triptych Consulting Ltd as a consultant. Gareth also held positions at CAF Venturesome as a Senior Investment Manager, UnLtd as a Senior Investment Manager, Triodos Investment Management as a Fund Manager, Triodos Bank as an Investment Manager and Lending Manager, and Santander UK as a Commercial & Corporate Lending Manager.

Gareth Zahir-Bill obtained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Nottingham, attending from 2003 to 2005.
