G Prasanna Kumar Wundavalli has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. In 1997, they joined the AP Pollution Control Board as a Senior Social Scientist. In 2002, they transitioned to the Administrative Staff College of India as a Capacity Enhancement Specialist, leaving in 2003. In the same year, they started working for the Andhra Pradesh National Green Corps as the Director, focusing on promoting environmental education activities in educational institutions across the state. G Prasanna Kumar also provided support to various schools, colleges, and universities in Andhra Pradesh for implementing environment education programs. Additionally, they held the position of Director at the National Green Corps Andhra Pradesh.

G Prasanna Kumar Wundavalli has a diverse education history. In 1977, they attended Modern High School and completed their X Class degree, focusing on School Education. After that, they pursued their higher education at the University of Hyderabad from 1987 to 1989. During this time, they earned an MA degree in Sociology. Later, from 2008 to 2012, they attended Osmaina University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Education. Their doctoral research focused on Environmental Education Policy and the Role of Institutions.
