James Covey

James Covey, MBA, CRCM, CCEP, serves as the Senior Director of Compliance and Interim Chief Compliance Officer at Green Dot Corporation since August 2020, having previously held the position of Director of Compliance. Covey's extensive background includes roles in compliance leadership at Walmart, where responsibilities included managing compliance for over 270 locations and advising senior leadership. Prior experience also includes management roles at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah, Apria Healthcare, and UPS, and service in the United States Air Force. Covey holds an MBA in Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a BS in Business Administration from UNLV Lee Business School.
