James Hooton

James Hooton is the Managing Director at the Green Finance Institute, where responsibilities include expanding operations into Europe and sharing best practices to enhance decarbonization across sectors through financial solutions. Previous experience includes serving as Program Director at Developing Health & Independence and holding the position of Director of Finance and Operations at Goldman Sachs from September 2001 to May 2017, where management of a 70-member team focused on liquidity and credit risk for clients in Asian markets. James Hooton holds a Master of Physics from the University of Nottingham.
