As a shareholder in Green Giraffe B.V. and other renewable energy companies, René has contributed to various initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable practices. Currently serving as a board member for both the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Rally and Stichting Open Oog, René also held the role of Sustainability Ambassador for Gemeente Amersfoort.
