Green Habitat Initiative (GHI)
Muhammad Sheriffdeen serves as a Program Formulation Officer at the Green Habitat Initiative (GHI) since October 2023, focusing on business development by identifying funding opportunities and developing project proposals for climate change, WASH, and renewable energy programs. Previous experience includes roles as an Analyst at Perspectives Climate Group and a Researcher at the Climate Change and Sustainable Livelihood Initiative. Muhammad's foundational experience as a Junior Associate at PT PIAREA Environmental Engineering and Consultancy in Indonesia contributed to a robust background in environmental management. Academically, Muhammad holds an M.Sc. in Natural and Environmental Resources Management with a focus on Climate Governance from IPB University and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Ilorin. Additionally, participation in various short courses at the Asian Development Bank Institute and RECOFTC further enhances knowledge in renewable energy investments and sustainable finance.
