Mike Ray

President & CEO at Green Hills Community

Mike Ray has had a long career in the non-profit sector. Mike began their career in 1988 as the Director of Finance for the Clark County Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Board. In 1992, they moved to Green Hills Retirement Community as the Administrator. In 2008, they were appointed President & CEO of Green Hills Community, a non-profit continuing care retirement community located in West Liberty, Ohio. At Green Hills, Mike Ray was responsible for overseeing a 60 acre campus with 275 residents, offering services such as independent living, affordable housing, assisted living, dementia care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, adult day services, child care, home health, and aquatic & fitness center.

Mike Ray obtained a BS in Agriculture from The Ohio State University between 1978 and 1982. Prior to that, they attended Northwestern High School between 1974 and 1978. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: a Certified Aging Services Professional from the Coalition for Leadership in Aging Services in November 2009, a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator from The Ohio Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators in February 1995, and a Certified Public Accountant from The Accountancy Board of Ohio in March 1991.
