Kyle MacLean has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kyle began their career at Mountain Bike City as a Bike Technician, where they assisted with relocating the store and resolving bike issues for customers. Kyle then worked at Mountainview Bowling as a Clerk and Customer Service Representative. After that, they joined EverLine Coatings and Services as a Line Technician where they reviewed drawings, collaborated with clients, and eventually became a team leader. Kyle then transitioned to RYCOM as a Deployment Engineer, responsible for setting up analytics programs and data analysis using specialized platforms. Following that, they worked at Smith + Andersen as a Mechanical Designer, focusing on designing mechanical systems. Most recently, Kyle worked at Reinbold Engineering Group as a Mechanical Designer. Currently, they are employed at Green Impact Partners as a Project Engineer.

Kyle MacLean attended Queen's University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Rundle College Society from 2007 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Kyle MacLean obtained the Engineer-in-Training designation from Engineers and Geoscientists BC in April 2021. Kyle also obtained the Engineer-in-Training designation from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in April 2020. Additionally, they hold the LEED Green Associate certification from Green Business Certification, Inc., although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
