Joseph Chanin

Joseph Chanin's work experience begins in 2020 as a UCC Pro-bono Senior Analyst at Advocate, where they developed dynamic dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. In 2020, they also served as the UCC Pro-bono Team Lead at UPS.

In 2021, Chanin worked as a Vehicle Quality Engineering Intern at Nissan Motor Corporation and as a Senior Tutor and Partnerships Manager at Green Light Education, conducting virtual tutoring sessions and managing partnerships. Joseph also worked as an Academic Tutor at Learning Linkz Tutoring.

In 2021, Chanin collaborated with Coca-Cola as a Georgia Tech Senior Design Finalist, where they integrated new dairy and alternative milk products into the company's supply chain and developed an optimization model to reduce transportation and overall network costs.

In 2022, Chanin became a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, working on a project evaluating the relationship between the HOPE Scholarship and entrepreneurship in Georgia. Joseph used web scraping techniques to collect and clean data from business registration documents.

Currently, Chanin is an Operations Research Science Intern at Koch Industries, supporting the data and analytics team in delivering business solutions based on operations research methodologies.

Joseph Chanin studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Joseph is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, with a projected completion date of 2023.
