Iain Hancock has worked in the video game industry since 2001. Iain began their career at Empire Interactive Europe Ltd as a Producer, where they were responsible for producing console and PC games. Iain then moved to Codemasters Software Co. Ltd as a Development Manager/Games Producer, where they led teams to define success criteria, features and licenses, as well as managed schedules and product quality. In 2006, they moved to BSkyB as a Senior Development Manager, where they were responsible for software project management and leadership. Iain then moved to Monumental Games in 2009 as a Senior Development Manager and then Production Director, where they completed two $6m multi-site software developments. Iain then took on a series of contracts as a Technical Project Manager at Grass Roots Group PLC and others from 2011-2014. In 2014, they moved to Dun & Bradstreet as a Senior Project Manager, where they became Prince2 and Agile Scrummaster qualified and proved they could manage formal IT projects as well as more complex media/software productions. In 2019, they took on a Production Manager role at an independent publisher, which they overlapped with their day job for several months. Iain is currently a Lead Producer at Green Man Gaming, where they are leading a slew of video game titles and assisting with acquisitions.
Iain Hancock attended Dame Alice Owen's School from 1975 to 1982, where they achieved A's in their studies.
