Barent Roth

Barent Roth is currently the Director of the Product Design Program at Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they also serve as faculty. With a strong background in sustainable design, Barent co-founded Anthropocene.Design LLC in 2018 and Circular Economy Manufacturing in 2019. They have held various academic positions, including Assistant Professor roles at The University of the Arts and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As a board member for Green Map System and previously for Lefferts Community Food Cooperative, Barent continues to advocate for environmentally beneficial solutions. They have also contributed to the field through part-time faculty roles and consultancy work, emphasizing the importance of circular economy principles in design.
