Sophie Hirsh

Sophie Hirsh is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in media and communication, currently serving as Executive Editor at Green Matters since February 2019. In this role, Sophie directs editorial strategy, manages a team of writers, and oversees social media strategy while producing content focused on sustainability. Prior to this, Sophie held positions as Senior Editor at Bustle, where reporting on pop culture and parenting was a primary focus, and as a Freelance Writer for several outlets, including Someecards and Condé Nast, where daily reporting on a wide range of topics was conducted. Sophie's early career included an internship at Mashable, contributing to viral content, real-time event coverage, and video production.
