Don Cannon

Don Cannon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, analytics, and quality control across various sectors, particularly in the biofuels, biochemical, and food industries. Currently serving as the Director of R&D and Analytics at Green Plains Inc. since May 2022, Don previously held roles such as Senior Scientist and Applications Team Leader at BrightSpec, Inc. and Technical Services Manager at Fluid Quip Process Technologies, LLC. Don’s expertise includes the commercialization of analytical instrumentation, product/process development, and quality assurance for natural products, supported by a strong academic background with a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Penn State University.
