Dennis Chu

Dennis Chu has over eight years of work experience in the food industry. Dennis began their career in 2012 as a QA Intern at Coca-Cola Refreshments, where they ensured quality control and analyzed data. Dennis then worked as a Food Safety/Quality Coordinator at J&G Foods Inc, where they gained experience in SQF and HACCP procedures. In 2013, Chu became a QA Manager at State Garden (Olivia's Organic, Simple Beginning, Northeast Fresh), responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems. Dennis later joined State Garden as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager. In 2015, Chu joined Green Rabbit as the Director of Quality and eventually became the Chief Quality Officer in 2019. Dennis also served as the Director of Quality Assurance at Blue Harvest Fisheries from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they have collaborated with Tufts University and UMASS IFT Team on product development projects. Chu holds a position on the UMASS Non-IFT related Team, focusing on U.S. Dairy Product Development.
