Janee Sommerfeld

Janee Sommerfeld has a diverse work experience in financial services and budget management. Janee started their career as a Financial Advisor at DeVry University in 2004, and then transitioned to Alaska Airlines as a Cargo Capacity Analyst in 2006. After two years, they joined the City of Renton as a Financial Analyst II. In 2011, Janee joined Bellevue College as a Budget Analyst II and later became the Budget Manager. Currently, they are working at Green River College, where they started as the Director of Budget in 2016 and has since been promoted to the position of Sr Director Financial Services in 2019.

Janee Sommerfeld completed their undergraduate education at Washington State University from 2000 to 2002, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems. Janee then pursued further education and obtained an MBA in Financial Management from City University of Seattle, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
