Marwa Almusawi

Marwa Almusawi has a diverse work experience starting in 2012. Marwa began their career as a Government Affairs Intern at the Council on American Islamic Relations from February 2012 to July 2012. In June 2012, they joined Green River Community College as a Project Coordinator for AmeriCorps Retention Project until June 2013. Marwa then transitioned to Green River College in January 2014, serving as a Program Coordinator, Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion until October 2014. Marwa was subsequently promoted to the position of Assistant Director, Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and then to Director of the same office in June 2017.

Marwa Almusawi earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Liberal Studies from Western Washington University in 2011.
