Matthew Swenson

Matthew Swenson has extensive experience in grant development and fundraising within educational and nonprofit sectors. Since 2006, Matthew has served as the Director of Grants at Green River College, leading campus-wide initiatives for grant proposals and fostering proactive grantseeking. Prior roles include Development Specialist at Green River College, where Matthew managed a $300,000 annual fund campaign; Resource Development Director at the Program for Early Parent Support, raising over $1 million in contributions; and Training and Volunteerism Director for Washington Literacy, overseeing training programs for volunteers and staff. Matthew's educational background includes a Certificate in Advanced Fundraising Management from the University of Washington, a Master’s degree in Not-for-Profit Leadership from Seattle University, and a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from Western Washington University.
