Sharonne Navas is the Vice Chair at Green River College. Sharonne has also served as a Commissioner at the Washington State Commission on Theirpanic Affairs and a Temporary Community Organizer at Stand for Children.

Sharonne Navas has dedicated their career to fighting for justice and opportunity for all. As a Commissioner at the Washington State Commission on Theirpanic Affairs, they worked to bring together parents, community members, and leaders to learn about Washington’s governmental, educational and human services system and how to better advocate for the Latino community. As a Temporary Community Organizer at Stand for Children, they organized teams of parents, teachers, and community members and developed a South King county advocacy strategy in conjunction with staff and chapter leadership.

In their current role as Vice Chair at Green River College, Sharonne Navas is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to quality education. Sharonne knows that education is the key to unlocking opportunity, and they are dedicated to making sure that all students have the support they need to succeed.

Sharonne Navas has a certification in education finance from Georgetown University. Sharonne also has a BA/BS in psychology and sociology from St. John's University. Sharonne also has a certification from the Annie E. Casey Foundation in Collaborative Leadership for Results.
