Sergio Terrero

Sergio Terrero is a dedicated software engineer fellow at Hack.Diversity since December 2023, where involvement in the 2023 Hack.Diversity Fellowship emphasizes career leadership and workforce development. Sergio has extensive experience at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts since July 2017, holding positions including Provider Operations Processor III, Directory & Audit Processor, and Medicare Advantage Enrollment Processor, focusing on data verification and member enrollment. Additionally, Sergio has co-organized Code & Coffee events from April 2023 to March 2024, contributing to collaboration and event execution. Previous roles include a Driver/Warehouse Associate at NORTHSIDE IMPORTS and a Waiter/Food Runner at Pf Chang's Bistro. Sergio holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (2021-2023) and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Quincy College (2018-2021), alongside earlier education in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago UTESA (2010-2013).
