Kate Filipovic

Kate Filipovic has extensive work experience in various roles within the retail industry. Kate is currently working as the Director of Operations at Green Sprouts, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at United Natural Foods for five years, starting as a Senior Account Manager in October 2017 and leaving in August 2022.

Before that, Kate worked as a Senior Account Executive at Alliance Natural Sales and Marketing from November 2015 to November 2017, where they maintained awareness of industry trends and developed strong relationships with key business partners. Kate also held the position of Key Account Executive at Presence Marketing/Dynamic Presence from February 2015 to October 2015, where they exhibited similar skills in relationship building and market awareness.

Earlier in their career, Kate worked at Earth Fare - the healthy supermarket, where they held multiple positions including Grocery Category Manager from June 2011 to February 2015. Kate managed and developed sales and margin plans for various categories and monitored category performance and consumer trends.

Prior to that, Kate worked at American Greetings as a Store Manager from March 2007 to May 2010, and at Lane Bryant as a Store Manager from an unspecified date in 2003 to 2007.

Through their work experience, Kate has honed their skills in operations management, account management, relationship building, category management, and retail store management.

Kate Filipovic attended Firestone High School from 1992 to 1996, where they earned their High School diploma with a focus on General studies. Later, they enrolled at Kent State University from 1996 to 1999, majoring in Marketing. In 2006, Kate pursued further education at Stark State College and completed an Associate's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services in 2008.
